About Me

Who Am I?

I am a doctoral student in Seattle Pacific University’s Digital Education Leadership EdD program. My research interests focus on how teacher education programs are preparing preservice teachers to successfully evaluate and use technology in their future classrooms.

I am a frequent attendee and presenter at educational conferences, and have hosted in-person and online teacher and parent workshops on various topics.

Outside of the worlds of education and technology, my passions are reading, cooking (farm to table), herb and vegetable gardening and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with my friends and family.

My Web Presence

I enjoy building relationships with organizations and people who are as passionate as I am about developing technologies that enhance learning environments. In addition to this blog, I have been sharing my experiences with educational technology and growing my PLN on Twitter @liztekkieLinkedIn.

I’d love encourage engagement by those in SPU cohort @ WLMA’s 2016 Conference, Oct 14-15 at Highline College. Happy to chat, tweet or confer.
