About Me

Photo of Liz EbersoleWho Am I?

I’m a Seattle-based teacher-librarian & teacher educator who is passionate about using technology to build active, creative, and connected learning environments for the whole school community.

As a Common Sense Education Ambassador, I work directly with Common Sense Education to promote digital citizenship. My specialty is digital citizenship curriculum integration. I will be hosting workshops on this topic at the Washington Library Association (WLA) Annual Conference and National Council for Teachers of English Annual Conference, both in November 2017.

I’m also a recent graduate Seattle Pacific University’s Digital Education Leadership Master’s program, and I’m looking forward to beginning the SPU Digital Education Leadership PhD program in the Fall.

Outside of the worlds of education and technology, my passions are reading, cooking (farm to table), herb and vegetable gardening and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with my friends and family.

My Web Presence

I enjoy building relationships with organizations and people who are as passionate as I am about developing technologies that enhance learning environments. In addition to this blog, I have been sharing my experiences with educational technology and growing my PLN on Twitter @liztekkieLinkedIn, Google Groups (G+), Microsoft Education, Edmodo, and EdWeb.

I’d love encourage engagement by those in SPU cohort @ WLMA’s 2016 Conference, Oct 14-15 at Highline College. Happy to chat, tweet or confer.
